Mate,
You were given the wrong instructions before, this is how you turn this mode off: Thank you for your email and your question. You can turn this mode completely off in office programs so it will not even display your messages in protected view. Here is how, please note, you need to make Shaw that you do it for each program you want to turn protected mode off for. 1. Open MS office word. 2. Press ALT+T and the letter O which will take you into the MS Word options. 3. Then you need to go right down the bottom of the list to trust centre. 4. Tab until you reach the button called Trust Centre Settings… Button. 5. Press enter on this button and you will be met with another list of options, you are looking for the option called protected view and tab and then you will be met with a list of checkboxes. 6. Uncheck all the checkboxes and then press enter on the OK button at the end of this dialog box and you will be right to go. Please contact me again if you need any more help. Thank you. I hear nothing when I arrow down, but if I hit the tab key, I get some stuff like Home, Print, Use Large Text, unchecked, Back, Search Online Help. There’s nothing about Window Eyes keystrokes to do anything. How do I get those? Thanks.
