Jim,
I never said I used it on 8.4. Just to clarify I tested classic shell a few
weeks ago under an internal build of Window-eyes 9. I tested it to verify
that it would work with the new support.

I was just stating that it in fact does work under Window-eyes 9 because of
the trusting of more programs that use MSAA in case others wish to download it.

Thanks,
Chris

Well maybe it did on your system. That I can not speak to. It did not with
8.4 on any of the systems I tried it out on. Do to the fact that window-eyes
was not seeing this as a trusted Microsoft active accessibility app.
Window-eyes is now more trusting so there for you will be able to use more apps
that need Microsoft active accessability.
This is a wonderful thing.

A couple weeks ago when I tested classic shell, it worked.

Hello,
this is just a quick note to say that I appreciate this feature. I find I am
able to use a lot more applications that required Microsoft active
accessibility, that I was unable to use before with window-eyes. A good
example is the classic shell. Another example, is the Facebook app with
Windows 8..1. I am very happy with this improved support and I want to say
thank you very much.
Keep up the good work.
