I also just had to do the same thing. I am going to try reinstalling window eyes from scratch then installing the beta again to see if it starts happening again. Edward

It suddenly became very slow and unresponsive. Tabbing through a list of links, the beta was about four links behind me and couldn't keep up. The arrow keys showed the same behaviour in list boxes or lists of files. I rebooted my computer but no difference so now I'm back on 8.4.
