Hi Danny,
try
press window key
type
sound card
and you should hear change sound card and enter
arrow down once and press alt c
and follow the prompts until you get to enter on finished
Do this for each of the sound choices until you hear the test sounds on your 
headset,
at which point when you get to enter on finished, just press alt s, and  you 
should hear window eyes speaking.
