Hi, Chris.

Can you provide an example of where a link is not reading as you would expect?

Thanks,

Aaron

Subject: Two beta issues, reading url instead of text and backspace dings in WLM

Since installing the beta, I’ve noticed that Window Eyes often reads the url of
a link instead of the text of the link. So, I will often get a long URL
instead of just Contact Us or Home. Often, going back over the link will get
the text read, more of an annoyance than a major bug, but it can get
frustrating. This happens with the latest versions of Firefox and Internet
explorer and everything is on a Windows 7 64-bit PC.

The second bug I’ve noticed, and this is with the latest Windows Live Mail, is
a common ocurrence of Window Eyes dinging with each backspace instead of
reading the letter deleted. I also often have to open an email, close it, and
then open it again before I can read the text of the message. I can try turning
browse mode on and off and I can switch to another application and switch back
and nothing works except to close the message and open it again. All of this can
make reading, composing and editing emails more difficult and extremely
frustrating. I have tried a reinstall, with no change.

I just wanted to report these so others might be able to help me figure out if
these issues affect everyone or just me and to make sure that if they are
actual bugs, that they might get fixed.

Thanks,

Chris
