Hi, ok I did the following

1. Emergency uninstall

2. Installed we 8.4

3. Upgraded to we 9.0 beta 1

4. Ran through the setup

5. Fired up outlook 2007

Now msaa mode will work when reading messages, but when I press control+. To
go to the next message and it opens up I have focus on the subject rather
then the body of the message and it sticks there I have to either press
escape a couple of times to close and re-open the message to read it or I
can hit tab a few times and then I am taken to the body of the message.
Everything in app -> outlook enhance is checked. There are many places I
seem to have to press a key twice to get some action to be performed.

Any thoughts

Hi,

Is message virtualization enabled?

You can find it from the apps menu/outlook enhance when outlook is running.

Ok, control+shift+a would not turn msaa mode off/on so time to search out
the reason why? Any suggestions on where to begin? Outlook Enhance is
running we 9.0 beta 1 windows 7 x 64 outlook 2007.

Bill has a good point here. If Outlook Enhance is running, then your html
messages should be automatically virtualized into a browser window. So
then, you can use the Window-Eyes control panel settings for browse mode to
control what you want to hear. If you want to hear different things for
email messages verses web pages, then makes your changes to settings
"program" specific rather than "global" which is the default.

However, as Bill points out if your Outlook Enhance isn't virtualizing your
email for some reason (including if you just disabled this feature), then
you have to control what you want to hear not in the browse mode settings,
but in the "common" verbosity settings.

If your aren't sure if your messages are being virtualized, open an email
message and try turning browse mode off and on with ctrl-shift-a. If it
goes to off and then back to on, all is ok; if it says "not available", then
you have to look for a reason as to why outlook enhance isn't virtualizing
them.

I too don't usually like hearing all the extra "junk" in my email, but I do
in web pages, so I turn this stuff off in verbosity browse mode, but I do it
"program" specific.

Hth,

Chip

Hi: I opened a message and then hit, think alt+v to get into the WE control
panel.

Now, if youarrow down you should find the folder for the Microsoft Word
settings.

In there I unchecked the style checkbox and allot of the noise went away.

I also unchecked someplace else but I don't think it relevent since
unchecking that one did nothine in my Outlook message.

I will try unchecking some other fields later to see how clean I can get the
messages without losing anything I want.

Later and good hunting!

I agree 100%. I don't need or want to know that I'm entering or leaving a
hyperlink field or that I'm entering a table at r1 c whatever.

There may be a way to fix this, but I don't know it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi: Please, please get rid of all the style info in my e-mail messages.

It is really, really annoying and slow to slog through a message.
