I have enough vision to be able to see the mouse pointer when its big, so I
used the Windows Magnified Pointer scheme while using High Contrast. I
typically use the Numpad to move my mouse pointer to a corner, then sometimes
use a physical mouse or touchpad to move the mouse to where I need it to go in
programs that are not very accessible with keyboard navigation.

I'm still on WE 8.4 at work and have full use of this. Same was true on my
home Toshiba laptop running Windows 8.1. I recently upgraded to the WE 9 beta.
Shortly thereafter, I noticed that the Pointer is no longer visible. I had
made no changes to the control panel mouse settings. I tried today to change
the pointer scheme just to see if it made a difference. I'm not saying this is
definitely caused by the beta install, but it's the only change I've made to
that PC before I noticed the pointer disappeared.

I do not proclaim to be super skilled at mouse key navigation, but I went
through a couple tests today.

* I used the normal process today I use in Quicken to navigate in the
account page via mouse keys and it worked. There was no visible sign of the
mouse pointer, but the mouse keys changed me from one account to another as
I've done in past.

* While typing the message on my work PC, I can hit numpad 7 and go to
the top of the message and hit Numpad 2 to move down through the fields, then
the lines of text. I can see the I-beam pointer moving down. On my home PC, I
started an Outlook message. Hitting Numpad 7 takes me to the top of Outlook
and down some menus and such before hitting the message, but I'm still going
down. However, the I-Beam pointer is not there. Even if I route my pointer to
the cursor, it says its' there, but it's not visually there.

Does anyone else with some vision see this issue? I can call the Microsoft
Accessibility Line, but wanted to see if it was an issue others have seen..
