Recently, I went looking for a working copy of the GWConnect Program that was used to access Skype up until Microsoft pulled the plug on their support for this kind of program and the program was rendered useless and unusable. The SendSpace File contained in this email zip file contains a working copy of the GWConnect Skype Scripts previously offered by GWMicro which was abandoned due to Microsoft’s changing their Skype policy. A work-around was developed and now the program works exactly as it did previously when all installation procedures are followed. Prior to installing the program, read the Readme.Txt file included in the unzipped folder. I am not sure about the particulars of the work-around but the program does make Skype more usable for many people now. I have installed it on my Windows 7&8.1 machines and it works on each of them; I am also not sure who produced the work-around but it appeared on a mailing list and appears to be legitimate; and I have not read any contrary information about the program.
