It will only read with SAPI speech if there is no screen reader loaded. ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Grabowski To: Micallef Michael at MITA ; Window-Eyes Support ; '[email protected]' Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2014 5:28 AM Subject: RE: WE9 BETA 2 persistent problem
Hi, Both are logged. We can duplicate the card file issue and I can duplicate the QRead issue, but the QRead issue is very random, even without closing and reopening the same book. Sometimes the QRead issue happens just by alt-tabbing away and back, then starting over, and sometimes it doesn't. For what it's worth, QRead can read continually with sapi speech by pressing control-s to start and control-shift-s to stop. In general the new beta seems works faster and seems more stable, but still I have to report the following issues. NB: the following two I already report them and Aaron said that he mark the first one to be fixed in BT2 but it is not fixed yet. So the issues are: When using the azzcardfile database - available from www.azzcardfile.net . WE reads OK the list of cards, but when you open the card, it start repeats the body content over and over. In Azzcardfile this also happens if you press the up/down arrows or press the CTRL key. this behaviour does not happen with any previous version of WE. It is highly important that this bug will be fixed prior WE9.0 officially released. Reading EPUB books using the Qread available from https://q-continuum.net/qread/buy , when using the continuous read command CTRL+SHIFT+R, its start reading OK, but sometimes when WE9 encounters a new paragraph or maybe new page marker, it stops reading. This sometimes takes time until it happens and sometime happens often. In a separate email, I will send an attachment report of a window-eyes crash that happens few minutes ago. thanks and sincerely hope that the above problems will be fixed before the official launch.
