I figured the problem had something to do with Amazon’s site, but why is this 
so much more noticeable in Firefox than in IE 11?  I hear only an occasional 
“list” if I visit the Amazon site with IE; with Firefox, the “list” verbosity 
is almost overwhelming.

Note that the list list list issue is because Amazon embeds some of their lists 
inside of lists inside of lists. You’ll hear the beginnings and the endings of 
each one. That’s by design. If that’s something you would rather not hear, you 
can control that using the list verbosity options. You never heard this before 
because, until this version, Window-Eyes wasn’t smart enough.

Even when I was using WE 7.5.4.1 just last week, that amazon.com combo box 
would disappear if I used NoScript to block scripts on the page. Worth

  Thank you for fixing the irritating repetition of button labels in
Firefox.
  Below please find some irritations I am experiencing in the second beta.
I understand that some of these may be due to my specific configuration but
......
  There are three irritations I have noticed still in the second beta, both
using Firefox 34.  They also existed in FF 33.  I have noticed none of these
in IE 11.
  In case it matters:  I have auto browse mode turned off and I have
Window-Eyes set to read nothing upon entering a page.

1.  Upon first entering a Web site, it seems like focus is lost.  Using the
arrow keys to start moving down the page yields silence, even after allowing
ample time for the page to load.  The quick-navigation keys also do not
work.  After tabbing once or twice, things start to work the way one would
expect.
2.  On the Amazon (non-screen reader optimized) site, starting at the top of
the page, using the quick-navigation key to find the next combo-box, yields
the message "no combo-box."  However, moving to the edit box, hitting
<ENTER> and then shift-tabbing lands me in the combo-box.

  In IE 11, when typing a URL in the CTRL-l dialog, Window-Eyes repeats
itself too much.  I.E. If I start typing "www.ama" the IE suggestion guesses
correctly that I am typing "www..amazon.com <http://www.amazon.com> " and 
Window-eyes starts to read
the auto-complete text, but IE insists on putting the "/" at the end of the
URL.  Since I'm stubborn and insist on typing the URL myself, Window-Eyes
shuts up once I type the next character.  The irritation occurs once I have
finished typing.  I don't put the "/" at the end of my URL.  Once I have
stopped typing I hear "slash" about a half dozen times.  I would only expect
to hear it once.

  Another item of interest is that I can no-longer get WE to read the "TO,"
"FROM" and "SUBJECT" etc. headers using the Outlook hotkeys.  I'm using
Outlook 2010.  This issue only seems to occur in messages I have received as
I was just able to read those fields in this message during the composition
process.  I don't recall making any changes to my Outlook settings recently.
I'm pretty sure I used to be able to read the headers in question at some
point in the past.
