In emails such as the GW-info digest I'm still getting many 4-second pauses, inability to use left and right arrows within read-to-end, sometimes called skimming or item mode. I believe the Firefox 32.1 update is recent.
One problem I jjust figured out is that because of speech overruns coupled with pauses between blocks of text, one may not know if Ctrl. has really gotten the user out of read-to-end mode. The repeat-find when issued during read-to-end is of course quite useless; but before, you could keep tabs on what mode you were in, thus a non-issue. In the current GW Digest, by Message 10 reading is choppy, by message 14 just about useless. HP machine, 64-bit Win-7, decent processor. No need to comment, just reporting. Finally, is there some preview pane in Firefox? Tried commands mentioned for IE11, no dice; just wondering, since the browsers share quite a few commands. -- "Hope laid upon hope, that this crowd will not subside..." [Dave Matthews] Regards, Max.
