Hi, For more information about what GData has, go to: http://www.gdata-software.com
As far as its accessibility, it uses standard controls, especially where it matters most, when a virus is found. The log you would use mouse keys to view, or you can export it to html and view it in the browser. Here is a kb article on configuring it for use with Window-eyes: http://www.gwmicro.com/Support/Knowledge_Base/?kbnumber=GWKB2060 Chris Window-Eyes Product Support Ai Squared 725 Airport North Office Park Fort Wayne, IN 46825 (802) 362-3612 www.aisquared.com<http://www.aisquared.com/> From: Sunshine [mailto:sunsh...@abe.midco.net] Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2014 2:09 PM To: Chris Grabowski; Baracco, Andrew W; gw-info@gwmicro.com Subject: Re: [EXTERNAL] RE: Getting rid of McAfee does this anti virus package have any preventave measures for the kryptolocker/kryptowall viruses? how accessible is it over nod32? I actually learned about it because one of our consumers mailed us with a question on it and I gave it a shot to try and figure out their issue. Many work sites, such as mine use it, and you may find yourself in situations where you do not have a choice in the matter. Window-eyes saw it as a web page and I was able to check the items I wanted to remove and hit the remove button. Note: using Window-eyes 8.4 I was not able to remove McAfee from the system.. Dell likes to put the ubitiquous McAfee programs on it. Now, McAfee seems pretty hard to remove, without sighted assistance. For the most part, the uninstall procedure wasn't accessible with Window-Eyes. I had to install the demo of the Shark to use the Convenient OCR feature to get around the dialogs enough to remove the McAfee software. Anyone know of a faster, easier way to accomplish this? It's gone from this configuration, but, this has got to be a valid question for anyone buying a new Dell system. Thanks! If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
