Hi Dave,

Here's a link to an entire tutorial series taught by Chip Orange, a blind
programmer using Window-Eyes, and through which I learned to write apps:

https://www.gwmicro.com/App_Central/Developers/Interactive_Classes/

Check it out and feel free to write to me if you need more info.
Also, Chip Orange wrote an app which allows one to use the VBA Integrated
Development Environment which is part of MS Word to write apps, and his app
includes an audio tutorial to show you precisely how to set up and use Word
for this purpose.
The app is available through AppGet and is called Office VBA and VBS Editor,
and here's the App Central page specific to this app:

https://www.gwmicro.com/App_Central/Apps/App_Details/?scriptid=1238

This should be enough to whet your appetite. smile

And, before I forget, there is an email list specifically geared to
scripters, namely, gw-scripting, and you can subscribe to it on the email
sign up page.

Good luck,

Rod

Subject: Learning to program Scripts

Hello,

I am familiar with Windows and Win eyes 8.4. But, hve never done any
programing, and I would like to give it a try. Perhaps I might be
able to add some access to one special program I use.
Is there any Audio Tutorial about how to set up a Win 7 system to
write code and compile it using one of Microsofts Express Compilers?

Everything from how to install the Compiler, to how to write my first
lines of code and then compiling it.

Is there anything for someone using Win Eyes and Win 7?

thanks,

Dave
