I am using WE 9.0 Beta 3 in Win 7 Pro.
Just downloaded Gold Wave 6.0 and installed it.
After starting up Gold Wave, it seems the Speech is delayed just a touch.
After setting up Gold Wave, when I attempt to Record, by Pressing F8,
The Speeck goes away.
If I wait a minute, I might be able to do an Alt Tab, to switch out
of Gold Wave,. Nothing is heard, then 20 seconds later, I get some
speech, speaking, but it makes no sense. I can not read anything on
demand. No keys that normally read somehting will read anything.
Again, if I wait 20 seconds, sometimes longer, again, some text is
spoken, but I can not tell fr0m where. And I can not re-read what
was spoken.
No sure if Gold Wave 6.0, which now uses Memory to store what is
Recorded, is some how clashing with WE 9.0 Beta 3, or something else
is happening. It seems like the system is processing something and
it takes 20 to 40 seconds before something is spoken, but what is
spoken is not what was expected.
I have read other messages here telling that Gold Wave 6.0 worked for them.
I have 6 GB of RAM, and is a dual Core 3.4 Chip. Nothing else is
running other than Win 7 Pro, WE 9.0 Beta 3, and Gold Wave 6.0.
