Hey Manny.

I downloaded and ran the Microsoft Security Scanner and here's what
happened. First, because the scan was in progress, WE 9.0 beta 3 response
was drastically delayed. When I checked the computer an hour or so into the
scan, WE stopped talking and I launched NVDA. NVDA response was also slow,
but I managed to get focus on the Desktop. I pressed the WE start- restart
hot key, Control-Alt-W, and nothing happened immediately. I left the
computer alone for a long period of time and from another room in the house,
I heard WE begin talking, and NVDA parroting WE. Returning to the computer,
I found that WE had crashed and my relaunch had generated an error report,
which I sent off to GW Micro/ Ai Squared.

Hopefully, the crash report can shed light on what happened.

Lou N.

Subject: WE9beta3 not reading message windows on microsoft web page then
needing narrator to continue

Hi,
while downloading a security scanner from the Microsoft web page:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
I had to open narrator because WE9beta3 would not read the message window.
