It is my understanding that in order to work with touch screens, it is
necessary to rewrite the Window-Eyes interface to allow it to work with
touch screens. However, I could be wrong. I am sure that this will be
addressed when Windows 10 comes out.

Hello,

I understand your frustration regarding this. AISquaired does need to write
to
their customers and tell them what is going on. I think with the ever
changing
rate of devices and touch screens, that this feature really can't wait for
the
next year. So AISquaired I would call on you to provide peace of Mind to
your
customers!!!! Remember that the customer is always right!!! This is where
JAWS
is really ahead. We have great touch screen support and I would like to see
WE
have this as well.

Thank you.

Brendon Donohue.

Since a direct question to AISquared support won't respond to this
question I can only assume that WE 9 will not have support for actually
being able to use a touch screen. Darn shame that we can't keep up with
the latest technology.
