Hi Chris,

The problem with what you are after is that it doesn't have consistency to it.
I will try to copy something and it doesn't copy even though we says it does
... I go and do it over and it works.
I know you need these examples to duplicate and we will do our best to get
consistent examples but, that is part of the problem.
That's why it would have been nice to add the f8 option without dropping the
windows selection method.
Then we would have both ... now we don't have what we are used to and we have
what only partially works.

We will work hard to produce the error in a reliable way so we can duplicate it.

Thanks,
Sam

It would be great if we had examples on times when the text is not copied.

For example:

1. In Internet Explorer 11 I went to GW Micro.com
2. I pressed control-home to move to the top.
3. I arrowed to the W in window-eyes and pressed f8.
4. I moved to the S of Window-eyes by using the right arrow key.
5. I pressed f8 again and selected copy.

The entire web page is copied to the clipboard.
The above steps are just an example.

Thanks to everyone for your assistance.

Chris

The point is you don't always get what you set for copy.

Loren,

After hitting F8 the first time you can move to the end of the text you
want to select any way you want; by characters, words, lines, etc. It
doesn't matter how or how much you move around back and forth. The
selection end point isn't marked until you hit F8 the second time, i.e.
you can hit F8, go to the end of the page with Control-End, Page up
once, back down a few lines, back up a few words, and then left or right
a few characters to get exactly what you want before hitting F8 again.

Hth,
Tom
