OK I have my new Win 8.1 laptop to boot to the desktop. This seems to
be the easiest way to use Win 8.1 unless I am missing something.
When I work through all the shortcuts I have on the desktop I hear the
word check before each title of the icons. No big deal but is there a
way to avoid hearing check?
So far I find Win 8.1 very useable with WE beta 3 but not getting
automatic focus on many dialog boxes that come up is troublesome as this
kind of problem did not exist with Win 7.
Running WE beta 3 on a Win 8.1 laptop with a I7 processor and 8 gigs of Ram.
