Tom,
I just launched WE 9, IE 11, went to gwmicro.com. Pressed E for the
search edit, hit enter, typed some test and hit backspace. All chars
spoke for me. So I'm guessing there is more involved than WE just not
supporting backspace. You may want to contact our support department.
