Okay, George. You can navigate to your %users%user name%app data%roaming%gw micro%Window-Eyes folder, copy the contents of the Window-Eyes folder, and paste it in a safe location before you uninstall WE 8 point four. After you install WE nine, you can then paste the contents of the saved Window-Eyes folder into %users%user name%app data%roaming%gw micro%Window-Eyes. Close and restart Window-Eyes, then update the set files from the WE menu.

I did not express my question properly. What I want to do is have a fresh install of we 9 and put all of my old 8.4 settings into the new installation of we. If you open the WE control panel with Control-backslash. All you should have to do is to press Control-S, just like any text editing program. Alternatively, you can tab to the save button and press spacebar. Either method will save everything; set file, key label dictionary, character dictionary, exceptions dictionary, et. al. hth, Lou N. -----Original Message----- From: George Brechman [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2015 9:55 AM To: [email protected] Subject: saving settings Hello list members, I would like to know how to save my setting on a windows 7 64 bit system for the new version of window-eyes 9.
