Hi Chris,
I'm replying to your message about problems replying to messages in
Thunderbird. The only problem that I'm having is that the backspace key
speaks nothing when replying to a message. If I start a new or forward
a message, the backspace key works normally.

You are in a message and press control-r to reply, then what happens?
