Hi, Doug - Does your answer to Don's question also explain the "OK button" voiced by WE 9.0 sporadically just before speech stops on a page? I encounter this repeatedly, but I have been unable to identify why WE says "OK button" or why WE stops speaking on the document or webpage I am accessing. Is there a fix to the "OK button" appearances? Many thanks - Ed Culpepper Subject: Re: WE find function From: Doug Geoffray <[email protected]> Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2015 17:07:32 -0500 Don, Go to http://www.gwmicro.com and go to the first line. This line is a link and says "skip to main content". You can find this text with no problem. However, if you try and route the mouse it will say unable to route. If you grope the screen you won't find it. In fact, if you have a sighted person look at the screen they won't find it. The reason is this is a link that is off the screen which is on purpose. So bottom line, there are lots of cases where we can speak something that isn't actually visible on the screen. Another would be a graphic that is labeled with ARIA. The text of the label isn't on the screen to find.
