Hi, Well I did my upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8 with speech with no problems. That operating system was then later updated to windows 8.1 with speech and had no problems. That operating system was refreshed with speech with no problems last June do to a hardware problem that caused the operating system to become unstable. That operating system that I am now using was restored with speech with no problems due to some malware. I don't think you will have any problems what so ever going from 7 to 10 or 8x to 10. Like I said I had no problems going from 7 to 8. Hth
