If you are using office 2013 this will not work. Window-eyes is the only
screen reader that has this problem. It is a problem with Microsoft office 2013
spell checker. The window-eyes tem and everyone else has reported this problem
to Microsoft. The window-eyes team has elected to wait for Microsoft to fix
the problem verces working around this. Note I am not putting down the
window-eyes team here. They probably have good reasons for doing things as
they do. I will say though that this has been a trend of late. Another
example is skype. Verces using skypes rather strange implamentation of MSAA to
show alerts and such the window-eyes team is still relying on the skype desktop
API for information. Now that skype 7.1 for windows now supports the desktop
API again this is ok for the most part. The problem comes in when dealing with
facebook contacts because this information does not seem to be exposed in any
way to the skype desktop API.
