Not sure about comm but I don't think Miranda uses MSAA at all.

I don't believe Miranda takes advantages of COM or MSAA, does it? Oh, well, it turns out I will only need this for another 18 days till my current job comes to an end... :-( I prefer Windows Live Messenger for all my instant messaging outside of work related communications. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rick <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Alfaro To: gw-scripting@gwmicro.com Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2008 2:01 PM Subject: RE: Script idea: AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) Daryl, Although a script for AIM would be great, a better solution IMHO would be a good script for Miranda that will give us access to several different chat protocols in one program. This would include Messenger, AIM, Jabber, and a bunch of other ones. Since I need both Messenger and AIM, I am currently using Miranda along with a program called Silent Butler that uses a Miranda plug-in to speak all incoming chat messages. Miranda could benefit nicely with some scripts as its interface for changing options is kind of funky and takes a while to get used to its quirks. Though it is usable with Window-Eyes, it is incredibly unproductive to have to constantly enter and leave browse mode as one moves from the text input window to the conversation window and back. I'm wondering if any of you script writers has considered trying to tackle this issue with AIM?
