Hi Steve, 1) yes the sound cards are preserved, wwhen I just switch the languages within the available languages in ECI Eloq and also when I switch between different synths, i.e. Neospeech Paul and ECI Eloq. It always remembers the specified sound card choosen for ECI Eloq. As soon as I switch the ECI Eloq with your script, the choosen sound card got lost and it will be set to the default sound card, i.e. switching between Eloquence Reed and Eloquence Max.
2) Checked it out again and found that the ECI Eloq voices are not listed in your script only when currently running the old ETI Eloq Sapi version. This can be seen as a feature, coz switching to the ECI from the ETI will cause probs. So its not a bug it's a feature ;-) Kind regards and many thanks, Ralf -----Original Message----- From: Stephen Clower [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Donnerstag, 10. Could you provide me more details? Are other Eloquence variants installed such as the ETI Eloquence from Window-Eyes 6, IBM ViaVoice, etc? Anything that isn't Eloquence 6.1 will cause problems, and there isn't anything I can do from a scripting standpoint to solve them. Thanks for your invaluable feedback. - Steve
