Thanks for the the follow up, Raul.  I looked at the Install Packages
code again, and am baffled.  I find nothing that would explain this.  I
do know that Window-Eyes monitors timing of keypresses in a listbox so
that one can type the first few letters of an item, rather than just the
initial letter.  This makes me think that the problem is caused by that
timing related code.
