Janelle, Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear it is working on other editions of Vista as well.

Jay, I am using Vista Business and this is my first test of your software. I have not tested extensively yet but things seem to be working as expected with my limited use of it. This is wonderful <smile>. All, Version 0.9.9 beta of WE4Java is now available for download at the link below: http://rapidshare.com/files/189105273/WE4Java_0.9.9_setup.exe The beta has been run successfully on my new Vista machine (Home Premium with sP1) using both the Notepad demo and the java control panel under java 1.6. The other enhancement of some significance with this beta is that tracking of mouse movements is now supported. While the handling of mouse movement keys on the keyboard is still being developed, WE4Java will respond to mouse movements using either a regular mouse or touch pad. If the mouse stays over a control more than half a second, it will be announced. Note that recognition and speaking of controls is limited to those which WE4Java currently knows about. This includes field labels. NOTE: In order for the wsc file to compile and register properly and for other installation tasks, it is important that the setup program be run under an account which has admin authority. NOTE 2: When WE4Java launches, it currently announces WE4Java ready. With this release, the version is also spoken such as WE4Java 0 point 9 point 9 beta ready. If you do not hear the version spoken, you do not have the current version of the WE4Java jar file properly installed. If this occurs and you have run the setup program, try running the Install Java utility from the WE4Java program group and allowing it to install the updates to both the default java environment and any product specific java environments you are aware of. Good luck. I will be anxious to receive feedback on the execution of WE4Java for Vista users especially.
