And I just received an "unable to locate installer" when I attempted to
install it on 32 bit xp.

Jim,
This message comes up in Vista at times. In your case, it simply
means the utility to install WE4Java to one or more java runtime
environments did not launch automatically.
You should be able to complete the installation by going to the
start Menu and then select the All Programs button and find WE4Java.
>From there, select the Install WE4Java to a Java Environment option.

All,
I have uploaded an update to the WE4Java 0.9.19 package. This
update sets the global association for the we4java.vbs script on.
Hopefully, this will fix some of the issues encountered in the script
not installing properly.
