The only API documentation I found was one for creating new plug-ins and another for creating Sound Forge's own internal scripts; neither of which provide any useful information. It has no COM interface to my knowledge. But I have all the items you mentioned speaking in the main window. I also comment my code heavily for my own use as well as others.

Tom

Hello, thank you tom, I want to know the following: does the sdk provide information about the file in the data window, such the length of the selection, left and right position of the selection, zoom ratio, cursor position and any such importent thing? and if so, it should work with each version who has object automation and supports scripting using api, btw, I am using 8 and have also installed 9, its nice that you wrote them, please throw some more lite on them. and it will be an added advantage to see comments on the code saying the use of it, this will help people like me to understand if we want to create other projects and may be similar to that, or perhaps an update to this one also.
Thank you.

Hi,

I'm in the process of scripting Sound Forge 9 and have just installed Sound forge 10 Pro to take a look at it. There are some changes that will have to be made for the script to work with the new version, but at a quick glance it doesn't look like it will be much. However, Sound Forge is a rather defiant beast and I'm trying to work out a couple of one size fits all templates to handle the 40 or 50 processor plug-ins it comes with. Otherwise it would take forever to script each one individually.

What version are you using?

Tom

Hello friends, soundforge has its own api, and a help file to describe it, since I don't know to write Scripts, anyone of you can see the sdk and write scripts for it?
Thank you.
