FYI

Winamp 5.56

Script 2.63

I wrote the issue was resolved, as I'm sure you read. I just wanted to
verify with you that I do in fact have the latest version of wimamp and the
script.

You have done a superb job with the winamp script. For years, I couldn't
leave WMP behind because I had so much trouble doing with winamp what I do
with WMP. But with your scripts, WMP is almost a thing of the past. As
soon as I find an extra twenty bucks and get Winamp Pro, I'll be able to
actually uninstall WMP. Anyway, thanks' for all you do.

Which version of the script do you have and which version of Winamp?

Subject: Winamp issues

I don't know if this is script releated or not.

After installing the most recent winamp script, and I am running the latest
winamp software I started hearing an announcement the stating Winamp Ready.

Cool enough. However, when I launch winamp now, right after winamp ready,
I get the windows default beep, WE announce an OK Button and there seems to
be a dialog box on the screen but I can't say for sure. Winamp won't do
anything if I try a few commands except to eventually crash and ask me f I
want to send an error report. I did the first couple times, hoping I might
get a clue back. But, no.

This issue kind of reminds me of a long gone issue where I had the auto
check for updates turned on in preferences. I turned that off a long time
ago. I wanted to check and see if I somehow turned it back inadvertently,
like I discovered how to inadvertently turn on Always On Top by doing a
Control plus A when NOT in the playlist window, grin.

Hoping you can help, and wishing all a Merry Christmas, I remain

Sincerely,

Donald E. <http://mysite.verizon.net/reszmkrl/musicforsight/author.html>
