The Bar Code script

I just started using my new bar code scanner. Along with it, I installed the 
bar code script, from app-central. For some of my products, it worked like a 
dream. Yet, for others, I was told, the produc is not in the database. Then it 
asked me to press the submit button. OK, I so did, but nothing happened. Sorry, 
I thought I would have got some place to enter the productinfo, but simply 
nothing happened, when pressing the button.  Am I missing out here, or what amm 
I to expect, in cases like this?
