Hi all, In an effort to help us all become better app developers, GW has kindly agreed to be guest speakers from time to time at the scripting class session held on Sunday evenings.
Doug (the big G) himself will be the first guest speaker for the class of May 15th at the usual time of 7 pm EDT. I have a scripting.tt file which helps open TeamTalk (needed for these classes), and take it to the proper server and channel, and supply the password of "gw". the server is the public TeamTalk server for the U.S., and the channel is named "scripting". Anyone wishing the .tt file can just drop me an email and I'll send it to you. Doug has mentioned he probably won't prepare a formal lesson plan, so more than before, this class is going to hinge on folks showing up with questions. I'd like to thank GW for their support of these scripting classes. Some Important TeamTalk Information: Anyone who hasn't been attending the "live" sessions please be aware that if you set your TeamTalk for "voice activation", you can easily drowned out the person speaking with some background noise of your own, so please don't set your TeamTalk to use this option until you are ready to speak. Anyone needing to test the quality of their microphone sound should make use of a special channel named "speex 32 khz jitter-buch" on the server which will echo back to you the sound of your own audio signal, delayed after a couple of seconds. When you're done testing, just click on the scripting.tt file again to join the scripting channel. See you there. Chip [email protected]
