Hi: Can anyone give me a ballpark guess on how many blind scriptors do not use
or have access to a Windows Operating System for App development?
I would guess it would be less than 10 percent but I have never talked allot to
non U.S. computer users. The ones I have talked to used Windows but I
understand other Operating Systems were, about 5 or 10 years ago, popular in
China and some other countries.
So, if you can, give me a ballpark idea of the concentration of Windows users
abroad... I might develop a AutoLanguageTranslator and am trying to decide
whether to use an existing code base, with permissions, or create a new .net
App from scratch. The .net version is what I work in and would offer some
significant features not available in a vBS script without major headaches - if
they could be implemented at all.
If most of us use Windows Operating Systems then I will lean twoard the .net
approach if I can get it implemented.
If not, it is what it is and I will consider the alternative.
