Hey Tom, Really sorry to hear about your studio - that's a real bummer. Hope you're doing well otherwise.
Best wishes. It's an audio editor like a word processor. You can cut, copy, paste, delete, move, fade in and out, layer, and so on. But the real processing that sets it far apart from something like Gold Wave is that it comes right out of the box with 50 something processing plug-ins; equalizers, compressors, gates, reverbs, and so on and so on. And that's just what comes with it. There are endless other plug-ins you can add. I started scripting it ages ago. The MSAA implementation turned out to be a huge mess that wasted a couple months of my time after I discovered exception after exception after exception wherein it would return bogus information. So anyone interested in scripting it, be forewarned. I keep thinking I'll get back to it, but my studio was destroyed in a flood and remains as gutted and empty as it made my bank account. So I haven't much incentive seeing as I seldom use it any more and have other work obligations consuming my time. And I got to know it inside and out prior to scripting anyway.
