Hi Dave,

If you mean vb.net, and you don't mind learning from e-books, you can
contact me off-list at [email protected] and I'll help you locate some
e-books for it.

If you mean how to program, and VB is your preference for learning, I would
suggest the beginning classes of my scripting tutorials sessions. They do
cover VBScript, but from the beginners viewpoint, there's not that much
difference, and so you can learn basic programming and VBScript at first,
and move on to vb.net later if you wish, or follow through with the classes
and start writing your own scripts.

The classes can be found by going to app central, clicking on "developer
resources", and on this page is a link for the "Window-Eyes interactive
scripting classes", which takes you to a page with all of the audio archives
and their associated example text files at:
https://www.gwmicro.com/App_Central/Developers/Interactive_Classes/

hth,

Chip

Hi list,

Does anyone have a good place where I could learn vb in whatever spair time
I have, which is to say, in the summer or something where I might get a
break from school? I know nothing, not a thing, zip, about programming
languages, but am interested to learn. Any info would be appreciated. thanks
in advance,
