And also, since GW anticipated this coming as more apps are written, they gave each app it's own app menu item, so you can put your app's actions on the apps menu so it doesn't need hotkeys at all, or it doesn't matter if there's a conflict; if you have your action on the app menu, the users can just "undefine" any hotkeys and use the apps menu item for performing the needed action. This also saves them from trying to remember hundreds of hotkey combinations. Chip

I know there will always be conflicts between hotkeys, so it's really nice that GW Micro gives every one an easy way to change any apps hotkeys on their own machine. That they need to. My Cuckoo Clock app uses that key for the Edit Menu for my app. So, I guess there is going to be a conflict. Bruce I have just posted version 1.5 of my error less app. The help text follows: Press Control-Insert-E to see a list of VbScript errors. The error description is presented first, so that you can press the first letter of a particular error to jump to its description. You can choose to append the selected error to the clipboard. In this way you could build a list of selected errors if you wish. Choose info to hear how many lines are on the clipboard. Clear will empty the clipboard and let you start a new list. Copy entire list will copy all of the errors to the clipboard. View will let you see the contents of the clipboard. Use the arrow keys to read through this multi-line edit box. Help will display the help text, and close will close the app. Here are a list of shortcut keys to use in this dialog: Append single item to the clipboard--enter Info--i Copy all errors to clipboard--c Close--escape Help--h View clipboard--v List of errors--l Jeff Weiss, CVRT Rehabilitation Teacher World Services for the Blind 2811 Fair Park Blvd. Little Rock, AR 72204 http://www.lwsb.org The Mission of WSB is to educate adults who are blind or visually impaired for careers and independent lives.
