So what seems clear to me is that there is something nonstandard to your
encoding which, in some instances, may cause either an inability for some
to subscribe if they fail to understand as to what is happening or them
giving up if they don't figure out the hoops through which they have to
jump.
Perhaps what you could do is include in the text of the msg the text of
the link itself saying something to the effect:
if the above link is unclicable, copy or paste the folowwing into your web
browser.
That should solve things for the vast majority of folks who encounter
either what Orlando or I observed.
