Wouldnt something like a form activation occur for a PopUp Window? The problem would seem to be that you cant look at the PopUp DOM to analyze it if the PopUp disappears. If there was some way you could trigger it you might do something like use the analysis tools to trace the events before during and after the PopUps LifeCycle. Then you may be able to determine the events related to it. In my case the PopUps I get are always a surprise and I don't know how to force them to occur so cant really trace their events. You might be able to watch for a particular Window Type if there is data on what type of window the PopUp is someplace on the net. There should be, in my opinion, something indicating it is a PopUp Window available to screen readers in either MSAA or UIA. At least that would seem to me to be common sense, not so common these days. If not it already exists - and I might likely have overlooked something - could there be an Event in WE, that fires whenever a tooltip baloon pops up on the screen? So, whenever the well-known Plob-sound is heard, indicating that a message baloon has popped up, WE will fire an event, that the app developers could hook onto, and act upon. I.e, you might want an app, that kicks in, when a tooltip is popping up, and maybe save the content of the tooltip to a file - that the user later on could read his ten tooltips, that popped up so rapidly after easch other, that he couldn't get any meaning out of the speech that followed. Hmm, hope that example made any sense, and that an event, along with some kind of a routine for reading the tooltip message, would be possible in WEScripting.
