Hi:
I am building a translator program that works with the Microsoft API.
The Current version uses the Request / Response to access the methods of the
Microsoft Translator API.
I will continue developing incremental versions of this program so long as
others use it.
While it will do some translations out of the box it is intended as a skeleton
project to demonstrate how to use various features of VB.net and the Microsoft
Translator API.
Version 1 is just a single form where you enter a string, select a language and
it is translated and displayed in a EditBox.
Version 2 includes the use of the Windows Process command to display help text
files in the client's default text editor.
I am open for the next feature to demonstrate.
Note that this is not a complete, professional application but a fairly raw
skeleton program for you to download and enhance if you want.
If there is interest you should have some version of VB.net 2008 or 2010 and be
an intermediate programmer since this is not a tutorial but a demonstration of
using some more relatively complex features of the language.
It is an open source project.
For now there is a key provided by Jamal but I should think that downline you
may want to get your own Bing appId project key and that is required if you
intend on using the application in a commercial application.
Let me know if you have interest and the ability to work with this application
as well as the next feature set to include.

I have the MSTranslator (Version 2) allowing for displaying Text Files when F1
is clicked using the Process Class working.
If interested I will do a little documentation on it and make it available for
Jamal to put up as perhaps MSTranslatorV2.zip.
If interest continues I will add another feature demo to the project as Version
3 and so on...
Let me know if there is interest in a continuing series.
I might head twoard a translator that not only translates strings but documents
and even WindowEyes XML files.
I am going to post this on the WindowEyes e-list as well.
