Hi!
For those who are playing the Trek game I have now added the Windoweyes
voice adjustment in with the Sapi voice adjustments, so the same procedure is
the same for both now.
In other words when I post the 2.1 version the Windoweyes voices will also
be done using the F1 to F4 keys.
I do use a preset setting for the Computer/Captain, Spock, and Scotty
voices which are adjusted using the F2 to F4 keys respectively.
To adjust all of them at once you hit the F1 key and you are taken into the
computer voice, then the Spock, then Scotty voices sequentially as you hit the
return key at the volume adjustment of each, or just hitting the escape key
takes you to the next voice and exits if you are at Scotty's voice.
So, hitting F2 or F3 or F4 will just adjust one voice, and F1 all 3 of them.
Now, the adjustments use the cursor up and down to change the voice. Using
the left and right arrow cursor keys will tell you the value of the voice
change as you go up and down if you so desire to know it. But, I do not tell it
as you adjust.
Hitting the escape key during any of the process saves your setting for the
game, not for the next time you run the game, but that will be a later
modification.
