One wouldn't use UIA to access IE's DOM, but we are using IE9's UIA support, among other things. Window-Eyes is written in C++.

Sorry to interupt but is GW, or the script developers, using UIA to access the IE DOM? I just read something to that effect concerning GW WindowEyes and the IE9 and above DOM. It was not from a GW site but some overview of IE9, plug-Ins and accessing the DOM I started reading after getting interested in these last couple of posts. If you guys are using UIA via the api are you doing it in c++ or some other language?

Can't you use .ownerDocument to get the Document object directly?

You can get an IHTMLDOMNode object from a BrowseModeLine object. While
you can't get a document object from a IHTMLDOMNode, you can walk up
the node's parent tree until you find an IHTMLElement, and then get the
  document from it.

Secondly, is thee a way using scriptin currently to simulate BrowseMode
  movement--ienextheading?

Not inherently. It's possibly something that could be scripted, but it
would take an excessive amount of work.
