GW Micro is pleased to announce the launch of the Voices and Synthesizers for Window-Eyes webpage. This online resource is designed to be your one stop for sampling, downloading and managing the new human-sounding Vocalizer voices that are available for purchase and use with Window-Eyes 8.0 and higher.
There are currently two different ways to access the Voices and Synthesizers for Window-Eyes webpage. If running Window-Eyes 8 or higher, select Get More Voices from the Help menu of the Window-Eyes Control Panel. Otherwise, open up a web browser and navigate to www.gwmicro.com/voices.
If you have not yet purchased additional voices for Window-Eyes, you can listen to samples of each available voice on the Voices and Synthesizers for Window-Eyes webpage. If you have purchased one or more Vocalizer voices for Window-Eyes, you can now download the voices and your synthesizer authorization file. Please note that the American English voices are currently available for download and additional Vocalizer voices and languages will continue to be added over the next few days.
For our US customers who have upgraded to Window-Eyes 8, all English Vocalizer voices can be purchased at the discounted price of only $39 until Friday, February 1, 2013. In addition to English, many other popular languages are also available for purchase. After February 1, the cost for additional Vocalizer languages will revert to the normal price of $59. US customers also have the option of purchasing all Vocalizer languages for $95.
