Hi!
Finally getting the battleship game up to Windoweyes voices and all
adjustments needed.
The Battleship game will allow setting of all voice settings and
including the speakers you have, right and left side.
This Battleship game is like the board game with (A to I) and 1 to 9 for
board row and column dimensions.
When playing the computer you are given levels 1 to 5 against the
computer where 5 the computer can and probably will out smart you because it
can check all values for each ship.
the firing of weapons will go from left to right or right to left if you
have stereo speakers and land's based on the horizontal position on the
board.
You can even adjust the background sound so it does not get in the way
of your playing the game and all sound adjustments use the 5 keys above the
cursor keys to make those adjustments: Delete key adjusts the voice, End key
adjusts the volume of the voice, Page Down key adjusts the rate, and Page Up
key adjusts the pitch; with the shift key held down that selection goes down
in value.
The Home key adjusts the background sound up and down.
If you want the score during the game it is done with the F5 and F6
keys, which are player and computer/player2 respectively.
If you have your speakers set in the reverse direction from left to
right you can change that setting either at the beginning of the game or
during the game using the F3 and F4 keys; where the shift key held down
changes the setting and it toggles. Just F3 or F4 alone tests your speakers.
this setting when just hitting the F3 or F4 key will tell you left and
right and if it matches the speakers you need not change the setting. But,
if it does not match, just hold down the shift key and hit either the F3 or
F4 key and it changes the setting for both speakers at the same time.
At the beginning of the game a children's setting will play animal
sounds randomly when a key is hit while playing. Teenagers just eliminate
those sounds and adult setting also has adult words in the game that kids
should not say...
The Battleship game is like the original board game. Aircraft Carrier
has 5 hit positions, Battleships and Destroyers have 4 and the Cruiser has
3. The PT Boat and Submarine only have 2 positions to look for.
Once compiled and packaged the game will be posted on the apps game page
with an upgrade revision level.
