Hi Rod,

I have to agree with vic 100%; I love Outlook. It’s not just the mail
client, which is fine; it’s all the other functionality you get (the tasks,
the calendar, the journal, the notes). We run our combined personal
schedules (my wife and I) and both our work schedules, sending outlook
calendar meeting apts to all four email addresses to help prevent accidental
double-booking, and it works “a treat” as the Brits might say.

Hth,

Chip

Hi Vic,

Your comments are most helpful. Thanks. Yes, the more I use these web-like
interfaces, the more I realize that we're always trying to make a silk purse
out of a sow's ear, as the old saying goes. Last night, I upgraded Windows
Live Mail by uninstalling the old version and installing the current one.
No difference for the problems I'm having. I also installed Firefox and
Thunderbird, and so I'm good to go if I want to convert all my e-mail to
Thunderbird. I'm just thinking about it all right now. I guess I'm just
fighting the idea of spending money on MS Office, although I'm not exactly
poor. Smile. It's more of an issue of principle over poverty. By the way,
Vic, how did you like the upgrade to RodMasterVolumePresetRotator. You are
the one to motivate me to write it up. Smile. Thanks for everything.

Take care,

Rod
