I have a question,
Is the IE or Internet Explorer installed on all Windows machines regardless
of existing browser being used?

It probably is but have to ask,
For the html file may not be needed and will just set an object for IE and
used the navigate function. Thus saving file handling and such when an error
happens.

I am adding lots of options, like Chip, writing an app ends up being
something you either needed or wanted, and gets very involved in the end.

In the future I will change the cuckoo Clock program to use the built in
windoweyes voices and not files, to allow volume adjustments. but could also
add my mixer program which is a lot like the one Windoweyes has added in the
app list; which has errors, probably due to value passing the parameter list,
where the first one is the assumed object but rarely needed, but maybe in this
case...the fun in using Python.

Subject: Breaking News 2.4

Hi!

Now have Breaking News 2.4 and in this version the End, Page Up and Page
Down keys have several functions, explained in the help files.
The Alt-End fetches the web page and places it in the editbox for viewing with
the selected search phrase looked for or the heading one tag.
Alt-PageUp keys stores the URL in the Clipboard so you can move it or use it
else where.
It also pops-up with a message saying it did it and displays what was saved.

Alt-PageDown fetches the web page and lists it in a list view in what order you
have chosen to list the links.
Added:
Control-PageDown now goes to the web site instead of downloading it, to allow
you to view videos or news reports stored as videos...or pictures.

these features are in the control panel, the list view and the editbox where
Link= is used to identify a link.

So I decided to make this upload because of the search feature had a flaw
when searching for a heading one tag or search phrase.
Also added this because of the web pages changes formats and preveinting the
saving of a text file, thus preventing viewing. I got rid of the msg box and
kept on going so the page could still be viewed even though it was not saved.
NOTE:
The Alt W key may fail for I did not check and may cause a fatal error, but
restarting or tabbing to continue run will fix it.

Hopefully there no new errors, but should not be so confident...for that never
happens.

        Bruce
