Hi Rick,

I will respond to all 3 in one email.
The way to use IE on your computer is to use the downloaded file as is
inside and HTML file. In other words save the binary data in an .HTML file,
then go to that file.

Of course you can create an object for IE and go from there.

My last response did not get posted or my anti spam filter caught it and
have to wait later for the filter to be posted. But my program does allow you
to use everything on the web page but run scripts and all buttons since there
also scripts or forms.
Having the downloaded page inside an html file then you can do almost
everything on the page for it will load all head section data and references.
Then any pop-up stuff will happen and all the annoying stuff which my app
avoids.

Now the stuff on sync, semi synch and async, yes I am talking about that. A
lot of that can be done using WMI commands but Vista on blocks or adds a layer
onto those commands. Most of which is getting permission to run and all the
securities added on to the events you wish to look at.

I just have not looked at it enough but keep getting closer to using it
when needed.

But most web page stuff involves video running and where those videos are
stored. With HTML5 there are other apps you can run as well which involves what
Chip is doing in his GPS program and much, much more. For the HTML5 allows
running many other kinds of programs which may not be screen reader accessible,
but if a video and such, that would never be an issue.

The use of messaging and text messages and such is always the one most
people are using until everyone gets completely and totally tired of writing
and go back to the stone age and actually talk on a phone again.

For PC Tablets and such for reading books and all that stuff is nice as
long as there good books and educational, but I am biased on that, for there is
too much garbage out there and I had hopes when the electronic age got started
we would all have access to all science and college text, along with a
professor teaching it it without having to pay for a college to do it...free?

All today's social media is talk, too many talking heads and little done to
advance society.

I already sent you the function for getting the binary/text file website,
which you apparently already had.

The rest are just the functions for stripping tags, deleting tags, and
extracting from tags. Just those 3 are all that are really needed. The rest is
how you want to store the links, which a dictionary is perfect for.

The one example I gave for making your own link can be inserted into the
text box as long as the format is followed, for I look at the line in which it
is on and if it matches one of the text formats I do it's command.

Formats:
Link: href=http://www.YourWebChoice.com/
Source: src=http://www.yourVideo.avi/

Now if you just type the preceding tag reference followed by the equal sign
then place inside quotes the link path, then you can inside the text box
already present you can use the hotkeys I have for the editbox because if it is
not a link=32 or any number which resides inside the already made dictionary
then it will see it as a link to go to and do it, or download it as the next
page you want to view in the text box; depending on which hotkey you use.
For you can download the page as a list view of links displaying the link
text in the list view and the link itself next to it if you want full list
view. You can set the switch for which list view format you want where the
default view does not show the link itself.

Note:
All hotkeys are the same for both list view and editbox view, including the
tree view list of stored links from the .ini file you set up.

Have fun running the app. Soon I will have the web page you view saved and
be able to return to the same line you left from...

        Bruce

  Subject: VBScript and Async Processes

  Hi Bruce:

I just gogled and found allot from MS on this subject.

Much depends on flag settings and there 3 modes of process:

  1) Sync, 2) SemiSync and 3) ASync.

  2) Since the articles then go into detail I did not copy all that stuff
since I don't know how you are tackling this technical yet or how much of the
techniques I was looking at you currently use.

  3) Anyway, it sounds like making Async calls from a VBScript is suppose
to be doable enough.

  4) Just a heads up and let me know if you want me to pull the urls to
the articles.

  5) Rick USA
