Dear all, (Sincere apologies for the previous message, was clearly sent out by mistake!)
However, I do have a genuine enquiry about Gwyddion's Indentor Analyze module. I'm interested to quantify the actual (residual) contact area left over by a nanoindenter - which would account for the pile-up effects (if there's any). The "Indentor Analyze" module generates many outputs, but I cant seem to find anything the User Guide explaining how they are calculated? In particular, I'd like to know what's the difference between 'indent Ad' versus 'Indent Ap', and how they're determined? Also, I'm wondering whether there's the possibility to first detect the edge of an indent, and later fill the inner region with a mask for determining its surface area? Many thanks for your help!
