I presently have gwyddion 2.10 running on an ubuntu 8.10 box
and was toying with the idea of upgrading. I have two questions:

Is there a 2.13 package available for ubuntu 8.10? My package
manager only shows 2.10 available (that's after hitting the
refresh button).

If I have to build from source, how big a deal is it? Do I only
have to build the new gwyddion or are there dependencies that I
have to drag along also?

Regards,
eric
