This simply means the file is in some unrecognized format. I have only a single Createc .dat file and it's five years old. So it's quite likely a new file format version have appeared since that Gwyddion does not know. Please send me a problematic file (preferrably a smaller one and compressed) to <[email protected]>. If you have any information regarding the file structure, e.g. the format specifications, it will be of course helpful.
